PRESSURE PUMPING SCHOOL
We understand that starting a new career in the oilfield can be daunting. This is why we started our Pressure Pumping School. To educate our “new to the industry” employees on what they will see and do during their first few weeks in the field. This school provides new employees with the confidence, skills, and mindset to step into their new careers and contribute from day one. The program focuses on hands-on experience using the same equipment, tools, and processes seen in the field.
Pressure Pumping Schools are hosted near operating districts to ensure the programs remain aligned with current best-field practices. (Grande Prairie, Alberta, Canada, as well as, Williston, North Dakota, and Grand Junction, Colorado, USA).
ORIENTATION AND TRAINING SCHOOL (OATS)
All new employees at Calfrac attend our Onboarding & Training School, which we call OaTS. This is an opportunity to understand who Calfrac is, our values, and get you ready for the field! You’ll be provided with all the necessary safety and customer-required training needed to get you out to work. We also offer CDL (US), and MELT/Class 1 (Canada) driver training for individuals who wish to gain their CDL or Class 1 license.
CONTINUOUS LEARNING
Development at Calfrac goes beyond technical and safety training. We believe investing in our front-line leadership is imperative to success. Continuous learning and support are available throughout your career with Calfrac, including our Supervisor Essentials Leadership program. Courses are offered throughout the year, providing Calfrac’s front-line Supervisors & Managers a chance to step away from the well-site or office to practice and develop people management skills to help them inspire and effectively lead their teams.
DEFINED CAREER PATH
Calfrac’s Employee Responsibility Training (CERT) program is an industry-leading standardized method of training field employees on required skills as part of the Company’s comprehensive employee training system. The program includes online learning modules, exams, and on-the-job training to ensure individual competency on each piece of our equipment, and consistency across the fleets.
